Berry Hill School choir, under the direction of Mrs Cunnington, made us feel very proud as they sang two special songs for Christmas at the Carol Concert at St Peter's Church on Monday evening.   The service was played live on Radio Mansfield and listeners from around the world tuned in.  There were lots of proud parents in the congregation.

Rev Fudger, vicar of St Peters, is a regular and welcome visitor to school.  He came into school on Monday with Mary, who works with the Church.  They performed a short Christmas play, based on two shepherds.  The children gave thoughtful responses and found out that sometimes the seemingly impossible becomes possible!    

The end of term is in sight, but not before the final party is held.  Children in each year have a party to mark the end of term.  We had a very important visitor to our Nursery party on Tuesday.

We have Roll of Honour on the last day of term and give out 100% attendance certificates.

We have made a good start to the new term.  It has been great to catch up with everyone and lovely to meet our new children and their families.  The children look really smart in their new uniforms.  We have had lots of cleaning work done over the holidays in addition to decorating and new carpets.  This has made school look really fresh.
