  • Cross Country

Sat 30 Mar 2019 Mrs Kendall

A huge thank you and congratulations to the 23 runners that took part in the cross country event on King George V Park. There were 98 girls and 120 boys competing from all over Nottinghamshire and we are so proud to have had such a high amount of runners representing Berry Hill. Each and every one of our runners did a fantastic job.

The girls team finished with 73 points in total and a finishing position of 5th.

The boys team finished with 35 points in total and a finishing position of 1st!

Well done to all of the children!

Thank you to you and all of your supporters for another super, sporting event!

  • Waste Week

Sat 09 Mar 2019 Mrs Swain
This week has been Waste Week at Berry Hill. We started the week with an assembly about waste and other activities have included a 'Fact Finding' mission about plastic waste, a waste audit and finding out more about the school's new Waste Policy. We also launched this year's Big Battery Hunt - have you got old batteries at home that could be recycled? The children have each received a box to collect batteries and bring them in to school to be sent off for recycling. What else could you do at home to minimise your waste and recycle more?
