Vicar Waters Trip Class 4

Class 4 had an excellent time on their Forest School Trip to Vicar Waters exploring the country park and getting out in nature. You will see in the photos the children completing various activities including a forest school session led by Ranger Rick and Mrs B where the children learnt about the local forest animals and worked in pairs to create dens for them. They then made 'Muddy Faces' using clay and natural materials. For the second session the children then completed a scavenger hunt while walking through the country park and made natural sculptures inspired by the Sheffield based artist 'James Ryder Van Brunt'. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and we would like to thank the Miner2Major Community Grant for funding the whole trip.
