Spring 1

In the first half of the Spring term, from January to March, we will be reading the following stories and learning about the following things:

Week 1 and 2: The Gingerbread Man - We will be learning to understand and follow a set of instructions by making gingerbread men biscuits. 

Week 3 and 4: The tiger who came to tea - We will be learning about parties and how to organise one. We will create a list of party foods we would like and invitations.

Week 5: Mr Wolf's Pancakes: We will be learning about Shrove Tuesday and how we celebrate the day. We will write a simple set of instructions for making pancakes.

Week 6: Chinese New Year: We will be learning about Chinese New Year and how different cultures celebrate, comparing them to our own celebrations.
