SATs

Key Stage 1 SATs

The SATs examinations take place at the start of the Summer term for Year Two children. The dates that these take place are flexible for each school but the government requirement is that they have to be adminstered during the month of May. 

Children will take their Key Stage 1 SATs in a familiar classroom environment and the outcome of these will be used alongside teacher asssessments to provide an overall judgement of the children's year 2 achievements. 

The 'special booklets' will be delivered discreetly as part of the children's daily timetable routine.
