Year 5 enjoyed learning about Buddhism and learning about Bodhi day. They produced fantastic artwork on the Bodhi Fig Tree - 'The Tree of Awakening'.

Year 5 had their R.E day today and their day was based on the question 'What do people believe?' The children learned about 3 religions: Christianity, Hinduism and Judaism. The children were put into groups and researched a religion and created a poster to creatively show all the information that they had learned. After, they presented their findings to the rest of the class. It was a very fun, insightful and interesting day. We learned about similarities and differences between the religions and we discussed why it is good to have days like these to learn about other people's beliefs.
We are looking forward to the next R.E day!
